Powering UEFA Champions League Final

During the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final in Kiev, Ukraine, FG Wilson dealer Madek Energo supplied 12 FG Wilson generator sets from 110 to 635 kVA for temporary power at the fan zone, concert event and in the city’s main street, Khreschatyk Street.

The project involved 12 FG Wilson generator sets over 8 sites with total electrical power of almost 3,000 kVA:   

3 x P110-2 CALG for three sites, each unit in a single mode of operation

1 x P635P5 CAE B single mode of operation 

2 x P165-5 CALG synchronised

2 x P275HE2 synchronised 

2 x P275HE2 synchronised

2 x P275HE2 synchronised 

As well as supplying the generator sets, Madek Energo supplied switchgear and synchronising panels including more than 5km of cables. The project included 24/7 technical service for its duration including a constant technical support presence on site.
