The use of fuels with low carbon footprints supports FG Wilson sustainability initiatives and celebrates FG Wilson commitment to Act Responsibly and Think Sustainably towards a better future.
Renewable fuels are derived from renewable resources such as planted crops. Regarded as Low carbon intensity these fuels, whether at 100% or blended, can be used as drop-in replacements for diesel fuel and can be used to reduce the carbon footprint of diesel engines on a Life Cycle Analysis basis.
• Implementation of enegy-efficient lighting – Sensor activated
• Automated controls on energy-consuming equipment such as HVAC
• Monitoring of emissions by land and water, and air
• Constant communication and engagement with colleagues to share knowledge
• Consistent, continual improvements to manufacturing and sales management process
We continually monitor emissions by land, water, and air, which means that our production processes are as energy efficient as possible; this was demonstrated recently with the production of the large engine range being relocated to the AEC facility, where not only can production emissions be reduced the potential carbon footprint on shipping to the dealer network can be minimised.
Improving efficiencies on emissions and improvement on customer lead time.
